Summer fun

top wrap

This pattern really is easy I had cut it out a while ago and didn’t get to sew it until recently. It was a pleasure to make. The fabric I have used was a synthetic with a satin finish. I made this as a wearable muslin

It is a quick and simple pattern to make up. The pattern needed only a little adjustment on the bodice to accommodate my lack of height.

Other than this it was a great fit. I like the wrap style , it has elastic on one side of the front so it is really comfortable to wear.

My photographers were not around to take my photos so there are none of me wearing it . It is really been a great addition to my summer wardrobe.

The suede tie dyed silk from Bali

I am enjoying it so much I have cut out some of the tie dyed silk I brought in Bali last year. I am going to make the maxi version to wear while we still have the warm weather.

Happy Sewing ,

Sue 🙂
