Wonderful colorful knits for spring

color fabulous

incredible sheer textured knit

I saw this fabric and fell in love . It is sheer but textured amazing colors and the pop of velvet patches in white. I bought enough to make myself a dress.I wanted an long or three quarter sleeve and a sheath style dress with a boat neck. I downloaded a burda pattern but it wasn’t for a stretch fabric.

I cut out the pattern using a stretch muslin and then proceeded to edit it . The pattern required a lot of adjustments.

lots of adjustment needed to change to stretch.

The muslin was great to enable me to change the fitting so that it interpreted what I felt would work with the fabric.

Finally finished feels fabulous on and will be great for spring.

I had enough fabric leftover to make a little skirt and its really comfortable with an elastic waist fun and flirty.
